Results from the 2005 Diversity Visa Lottery Program
The Diversity Visa Lottery was conducted under the terms of Section 203(B) of the Immigration and Nationality Act and makes available 50,000 permanent residence visas annually to persons from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States.
Applicants whose application was entered correctly for the 2005 Lottery Program (called DV-2007) were selected at random by computer. Only if you submitted a correctly prepared Application on time you would have had just as good a chance of success as the next eligible applicant. A percentage of applications received were rejected and disqualified due to an incorrectly prepared application or submitted at the wrong time. Don't let this happen to YOU with your next Lottery application!
